About Me

Mansi Pingle – Dreamer, cyclist, injured sports enthusiast, lover, blogger, home dancer(just like you have a bathroom singer), bollywood fan, adventurer at heart! Half-Basic-Mountaineer, a Big Bang theory fan, tomboy, an occasional cook and the list goes on…

I have traveled alone in the past and I have realised its a blessing! You dont share bathrooms, do each others work, help each other find missing things( though I am the one to loose things :P)

I am writing this blog to ensure I travel and I write. In my continuous effort not to let this blog die, I will keep travelling, go to the past- fresh up my memories about my travel and write them. I speak fluent French and aspire to learn Mandarin

I have travelled in India, France, Germany, United Kingdom, United States of America, Malaysia alone and Thailand.

My blog sometime speaks about some inspiring women to travel. Some ride motor bikes, cycles and some just walk. I hope to continue getting inspired by their feat and we all can learn so much from them.

I have a full time job. With this blog I want to tell everyone who travels on work- No dont grab a drink and go back to the hotel room. Get out, catch up with your friends and make an experience and not just a work trip.

I want to tell women travelers where to go, where not to, what is safe and what isnt. Yes its time we travel alone with less risks by taking by being more informed.

My Main objectives are-
1. To write about women who inspire us– There are many one off women- who ride bikes, ride cycles and travel cross country. They are the ones who stand out and follow their dreams and unknowingly inspire others. I want to write their story, as they work on our mindset. Vide their actions exhibit- It is not weird to travel solo, or away from regular people in a group of total strangers. This is how we realize there is a life beyond our mundane routine and once put to test we easily adjust and experience a true learning curve.

2. My Travel Tales – I am a pragmatic modern traveler. I work to pay my bills. I dont have very high paying job, but enough to sustain myself. There are hundreds of women like me, but they have never thought of travel as something that energizes themselves. Travel is always taken an expense and not an investment. I write to break the myth around travel. Traveling is affordable if you find the joy in a clean bed and clean toilet and not in a swanky hotel with a swimming pool, spa and an airport pick up!Mansi travelling from Pune to Bangalore!
